I'm hitting the road for Thanksgiving, so possibly the only things I'll be purchasing on Black Friday are a tree-shaped air freshener and a bag of pretzels from the Flying J truck stop. You, lucky person, can go to the Rock 'n' Roll Craft Show and buy dinosaur necklaces and handkerchiefs hand-embroidered with Jolly Rogers (while listening to live bands -- the "rock 'n' roll" part is not just an idle threat). Go here for dates, times, and prices, and here for RRCS's Flickr stream, which includes pictures from last year's show. Also note that the Big Ass Indie Arts & Crafts Show kicks off the weekend of December 4, and that the St. Louis Craft Mafia's home page is the place to go to stay apprised of such events yearround. --Stefene Russell
