Yesterday, Taubman Prestige Outlets announced four new retailers that will be opening later this year: Coldwater Creek Factory Store, Coach Factory, Justice & BROTHERS, and The Uniform Outlet.
The 310,000-square-foot, $150 million shopping center is one of two outlet malls that opened in Chesterfield last August. General manager Colleen O’Neill says that the new stores, which all signed leases in the first quarter of the year, will open this summer to take advantage of the back-to-school and holiday shopping seasons.
The Coldwater Creek Factory Store will be the first in the region and carries women’s clothing and accessories; the Coach Factory, which is also located at St. Louis Premium Outlets, carries luxury bags and accessories; Justice & BROTHERS features clothing and accessories for boys and girls ages 7–14; and The Uniform Outlet carries scrubs, nursing clothing, and medical uniforms.
These are not the first additions to Taubman Prestige Outlets this year. In February, the first Kasper store, carrying discounted women’s suiting and dresses, in the region opened along with Nadoz Bakery & Café, which serves locally roasted coffee and espresso, juices, hot breakfast items, burgers, and more.
There has been a slight flux in retailers since Taubman opened in August, with the addition of Juicy Couture, Solstice Sunglass Outlet and Gamestop last fall, a few seasonal stores leaving after the holidays as expected, and The Collective backing out at the end of last year. A few exits west, St. Louis Premium Outlets has filed plans for a 73,000-square-foot expansion to add upwards of 20 stores.
