Jeans: D&G jeans. They fit like a dream. Bag: Ben Sherman nylon messenger bag from urbanoutfitters.com. Sneakers: Converse or anything ’80s-inspired, colorful and fun. Designer: Etro. Barber: Russ Britton. Fragrance: For fall, Jean Paul Gaultier; for spring, Allure Homme by Chanel. Shampoo: I’ve been a Paul Mitchell boy since birth. The Tea Tree line rocks. I also love Modern Organic Products’ C-System line. Moisturizer: For day, RéVive Sensitive oil-free with SPF 15. For night, RéVive moisturizing renewal cream. Cup of joe: An iced venti peppermint Americano at Starbucks. China: I love anything classic and white. Home accessory: You must have artwork and personal photos. It says so much about you and really makes the living space more personable. Local restaurant: Vin de Set is hard to beat on a beautiful night. Cocktail: Bacardi and Diet Coke or a raspberry lemon sorbet martini. Bar: Brandt’s in the Loop or Baileys’ Chocolate Bar. Dance spot: Novak’s on Manchester or That ’80s Club at Rue 13 on Washington. Meal at home: Salmon with grilled asparagus—not heavy and so good for you! I also love to make corned beef and cabbage with my mom. Dessert: I’m not a big dessert guy, but I will indulge in lemon sorbet. Gelato Di Riso in the CWE is great. Discovery: Kim Massie at Beale on Broadway. The ambience will take you on a mini vacation to New Orleans. City: L.A. I love the energy there. You can be whoever you want, and no one cares. Vacation spot: Any beach. Inspiration: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. I learned that inspiration is all around you; the trick is to be conscious enough to see it and learn from it.
