Just saw this on Matt Mourning's Twitter:
"City Art Supply on Cherokee--one of STL City's only local art suppliers--has closed. Buy local and keep our neighborhoods unique...or else!"
GAWD that sucks. We just bought some stuff from them last weekend, and Jeremy Rabus was there, making ceramic tiles and painting away. I am shocked, and seriously bummed out. Please, please people - I know it's less convenient to go to little stores, rather than Target, but even if you patronize them *half the time* we can keep our independent businesses afloat, even in this rough economy. --Stefene Russell
