Yes, there were celebrities at the inaugural Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con. Billie Dee Williams signed cans of Colt .45 malt liquor as well as Empire Strikes Back posters. Tom “Draco Malfoy” Felton fought off hordes of fans as menacing as Dementors. Stan Lee, one of the godfathers of the superhero comic, received many genuflections from gobsmacked fanboys.
But the real show was everywhere else, as this Comic Con, like its namesake in San Diego, was attended by many fans who played dress-up for the occasion.
So many cool and fun costumes—and a great time had by all.
