Can't concentrate? Been down to the breakroom eight times already to visit the water cooler because you can't focus this morning? Don't fret. It's going around this time of year. Everyone's head is filled with static. Maybe it's the barometric pressure, or the cold weather, or all of that Musakisized Bing Crosby playing on PA systems everywhere. In any case, it can result in a bad case of the faux flu. You don't want to go to work with the faux flu—it's definitely catching. The best Rx for such an ailment is to take it easy and feel blissful and pleasant, and we have a suggestion for how you might do that. Tomorrow morning, Rally St. Louis (yep, you remember those guys. If not, here's a refresher) has partnered with MX Movie Theater for an event that combines trivia, charity, and the premeire of Anchorman 2. Custom-tailored for St. Louis folks, as you can see (well, at least the trivia and the charity parts, though that's not to say people aren't looking forward to the movie).

Enjoy being kind of a big deal? Like playing a little holiday-time hooky or simply taking a loooooong lunch? Well on Friday, December 20th, Rally Saint Louis is offering up the chance.
The public is invited to fill up 160 seats in the new MX Movie Theater in downtown St. Louis for a special and charitable Rally Saint Louis Anchorman 2 Screening & Trivia Showdown presented by CafePress (Facebook event invite here), with chances to win official gear from the hotly anticipated film featuring legendary newsman Ron Burgundy.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., St. Louis news anchors John Pertzborn (KTVI Fox 2), Pat McGonigle (KSDK-5), Andre Hepkins (KMOV-4), Mark Reardon (KMOX), Steve Potter (St. Louis Public Radio) will compete in a St. Louis news trivia event hosted by, perhaps, Ron Burgundy.
The winning anchorman will win $1,000, courtesy of CafePress.com, to give to a local charity. Then, just before the film begins at 11 a.m., we’ll turn the tables and ask the audience trivia questions for a change to win free official Anchorman 2 merchandise from CafePress.com.
Tickets can only be purchased ONLINE HERE or at the door and are just $7. For information, email info@RallySTL.org or call 314-561-8253.
Watch the trailer below and see if you don't feel some faux fever 'n' chills start to come on. And consider this: the theater seats less than 200 people. So advance ticket purchases may be advisable, unless you're good at freestyling with unstructured goof-off time...or humbly returning to your cube after a miraculous recovery.
