On November 22nd at 7pm, archivist, publisher, conspiracy researcher and author Kenn Thomas (who we profiled in STL Mag's August issue) will be at Apop Records (2831 Cherokee) to sign copies of his newest book, Secret and Suppressed II: Banned Ideas and Hidden History into the 21st Century. The follow-up to Jim Keith's cult classic (which introduced the concept of "men in black" to the mainstream culture) the anthology contains work by Kenn Thomas himself, as well as a cast of underground luminaries, including Robert Anton Wilson, Jim Hougan, Paul Krassner, Mae Brussell, Adam Weishaupt, Jim Marrs, Joseph P. Farrell, Mike Bara, Craig Heimbichner, Richard Sauder, Joan D’Arc, Al Hidell, Jay Weidner, Col. Fletcher Prouty, Adam Gorightly, Harry Helms, Mark Bruback, Douglas Hawes, William W. Flint, Jerry E. Smith, Robert Sterling and David Martin.
Conspiratorily enough, November 22 is the 45th anniversary of perhaps the most dissected conspiracy topic ever: the JFK assassination. Kenn reports, however, that he will not be talking about JFK, but giving a PowerPoint presentation on Wilhelm Reich. The last Apopoganda email missive also reported there may be some "Disinfo TV screenings, post this event," as well as discounts to attendees clad "in pink Chanel." —Stefene Russell
