New Storefronts Opening on Cherokee

As national magazines continue their retail deathwatches, there are encouraging signs of life here in St. Louis: I learned this morning via Apopoganda, Apop Records' occasional dispatch, that art/education storefront Cranky Yellow is moving to new, bigger digs five doors down from Apop. Also opening nearby: a vintage resale shop, Binge & Purge. There's a big joint opening in the works, though no hard date noted yet. --Stefene Russell
