Just so you know, I put the word "website" in that headline on purpose. Apparently the folks behind the AP Stylebook have seen the light, and the two-word spelling -- Web site -- has been consigned to the dustbin. Hooray! (Not sure what bothers me about it, but I apparently I was not alone in my annoyance with it). Anyway, speaking of things that have passed away (some good, some bad), the Missouri History Museum has just launched an "online magazine" (now that's a charming 1990s terminology), "History Happens Here!" In addition to posting lots of cool content relating to St. Louis history -- both stories and photos -- they are actively seeking reader's stories, and are posting interesting behind-the-scenes stuff from the actual, physical museum. So be sure to check out their website. And yes, that was another flagrant, gratuitous and celebratory use of that word. --Stefene Russell
