Stlouis-02
Matthew Rosenberger, publisher of a series of city guides for kids, kindly forwarded us a review copy of their newest title, ABC St. Louis. The company has already published guides to Manhattan, Chicago, New Orleans and Washington, DC; each page is dedicated to a letter and a fun place to go that starts with that letter (so, as you see above, C is for City Museum). Though these shiny, colorful little books would make a great accessory to any out-of-town trip, it seems to me that they are also a great place to help kids start learning about the culture, geography and history of their own city. Plus, there are a few sleepers here, including the Dental Health Museum and the Whspering Arch at Union Station that desperate parents will appreciate, having run thorugh their list of things to do with kids over the long stretch of summer vacation.
