Last month, I sat down with Magnolia Summer frontman Chris Grabau at The Royale to do a quick lunch interview for our December music feature … and ended up talking to the soft-spoken singer-songwriter for nearly an hour and a half about everything from the band’s place in St. Louis’ musical constellation to his role as the manager of SLU’s Billiken Club to his involvement with the Undertow Music Collective.
