I'm a sucker for beauty products with big promises. If a moisturizer tells me it will turn back time and take away all those brown spots and wrinkles, I will fall hook, line, and sinker at the cosmetics counter. I assume every skin care product is worthy of face time until proven a fraud. That being said, I love a product sample. Making my way through Neiman Marcus, I picked up a mini-tube of Natura Bisse Inhibit-Dermafill, expression line + filler complex. Deemed as a cosmetic alternative to micro-injections, it's formulated with 40% Octamioxyl to keep expression lines from reforming and 10% Dermafill Complex to fill in and smooth out wrinkles. The product promises to augment the tissue volume, boost density in the skin, and provide maximum hydration—and after a mere three days, I saw all those improvements in the skin around my eyes by using a very small amount of product—I'm talking less than the size of a pea. At $408 per ounce, it does break the bank, but is much cheaper than a trip to the plastic surgeon...I will be standing on my mini-tube until every last drop is gone.
