Notes for the reader:
1) This chart includes private schools that had at least 50 students enrolled in preschool through eighth grade.
2) We did not include the many parish elementary schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, whose list can be found at archstl.org/education. The same goes for parish schools in the Metro East.
3) Some schools also have high schools, but for the purposes of this chart, we asked that administrators only include information that pertains up to eighth grade.
4) Some schools list only sixth through eighth grades. In most cases, these are schools that incorporate middle-school grades into their high schools. We included their middle-school students on this chart, and their high-school students on the chart that follows this one.
5) In the “Grade Levels” column, SLM chose to retain a school’s exact language (e.g., “19 mos. to grade 6”) rather than rephrase to our own unified system, which could misrepresent a school’s policy.
