What do you do when a headstrong toddler has sagging pants? Grab a Myself Belt and let him fasten it himself. Local mother Talia Goldfarb and her sister, Danielle Eason, invented Myself Belts so children could gain a sense of accomplishment by tightening their pant waist in a simple three-step process using a Velcro strip. Patterns for the belts include trains, boats, flowers and ribbons, and prices range from $12.50 to $14.50. They are sized for children ages 2 to 6, or up to 50 pounds. Myself Belts are found at eight stores around St. Louis, in-cluding Ginger Pye and Baby It’s You & Kids Too. For more details, visit www.myselfbelts.com.
