Kelley Hall-Barr is a candlestick maker. And a body lotion maker. And a scented soap maker. K. Hall Designs, which Hall founded in 1998 and now runs with her husband, John Barr, makes a line of home and body care products using natural and vegetable-based ingredients. The company is based in an old gasoline station in University City that has been reworked into a manufacturing center for the products, which the couple mix in five-gallon buckets and then package and label by hand.
