But golf, despite its frustrations (death by a thousand missed putts), seems perfectly tailored to the golden years, offering a leisurely pace and picturesque views. The golf stars of yesteryear will compete at Bellerive Country Club (12925 Ladue, 800-742-4653, pga.com/seniorpga) from May 21 through 26 in the 74th Senior PGA Championship, one of the senior tour’s signature events.
