Despite the horrendous-looking building, Mimi’s Café is already a hot ticket in the Chesterfield Bottoms, with 20-minute waits common during the weekday lunch rush. Thankfully, the inside of Mimi’s Café, which is divided into different themed areas, including the bistro and the garden room, is much more attractive than the outside. Like most chains (there are about 25 across the country), the expansive menu is designed to have something for everyone, with dishes ranging from chicken pot pie to the teriyaki shrimp bowl. Mimi’s is a step up from some of the other apostrophe restaurants in the Chesterfield Bottoms and also has a full breakfast menu that includes all of the old standbys. While most of the food won’t knock your socks off, Mimi’s Café is still an enjoyable destination.
