This morning, high-end shopping center Plaza Frontenac announced the addition of three new stores: Tory Burch, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, and Forever Flawless.
The first to open will be Forever Flawless, a 1,600-square-foot store featuring diamond-infused skin care products, located on the upper level between Williams-Sonoma and Soma Intimates this summer.
In the fall, Tory Burch will open its first Missouri store in the center court between Louis Vuitton and Talbots. Known for her bright prints and preppy-bohemian style, Tory Burch's stylish and versatile designs are popular with celebrities.
Near the end of the year, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams will open a 10,000 square-foot store featuring home furnishings, including upholstery, lighting, rugs, and accessories, adjacent to Neiman Marcus and across from Sur La Table.
Plaza Frontenac has had quite a few comings and goings recently, with popular stores such as YLANG-YLANG and Ken Miesner's Flowers, which was one of the original tenants, moving or announcing plans to move. Earlier this year, Ken Miesner was told his lease would not be renewed. His floral shop, a former bed store, and Passport Luggage, which was relocated within the mall, were moved to make room for a then-unnamed 10,000-square-foot store, the St. Louis Business Journal reported. Miesner's shop relocated to 9737 Clayton and YLANG-YLANG will open their new store at the popular Colonial Marketplace development in Ladue at the end of June, following the footsteps of Town and Country Bridal Boutique, which left the mall last fall and also moved to the Colonial Marketplace development.
As far as newcomers to the mall, Plaza Frontenac added stores Madewell, Allen Edmonds, and Athleta in 2013, and Louis Vuitton is undergoing a total remodel of its current space, expanding to 4,000 square feet this summer.
