Last Week’s Poll Results: Last week’s poll asked St. Louisans to rank four summer beers briefly reviewed in our August issue. Without ado, here are the results, in ascending order by ABV (appealing-brew vote): Buffalo Bill’s Orange Blossom Cream Ale, 9.1 percent of respondents; New Belgium Skinny Dip, 18.2 percent; Bell’s Oberon Ale, 27.3 percent; and Schlafly Summer Kölsch, 45.4 percent. So what do ya say we head to the Bottleworks and celebrate the electoral process?

Hot Dawg!

Ah, the humble frankfurter! Frequent contributing writer Sarah Truckey meditates on that topic in “The Tao of the Dog,” in our August ish. In light of that mouthwatering meditation, please be (ouch!) frank with us: When you dig a dog, which topping do you favor on it above all others?

Good ol’ yellow mustard
Chili―lots of chili
Sauerkraut, baby!
Sweet relish
