The evening of April 17, the scene in front of the Contemporary Art Museum was decidely high style, as throngs of well-heeled glitizens posed for shutterbugs, air-kissed and waved hellos before St. Louis Magazine's SPRING FEVER Fashion Show and Bachelor Auction. Revelers enjoyed light fare and complimentary Peroni, Miller Chill and Tommy Bahama Rum cocktails. Impossibly gorgeous models sashayed down the runway in the brightest spring fashions from Neiman Marcus. Sure, the partygoers minds were on high style, but a good share of the ladies were there to treat a fever of a different kind. After the fashion show, catcalls filled the museum as dates with nine hunky, willing and single area firefighters were auctioned to the highest bidders.
