St. Louis Magazine's A-List Party, held in Maryland Plaza, was, we can safely say, our best ever. Here, we lay out the evidence. Exhibit A: The incredibly acrobatic guys in the Chinese dragon costume and their incredibly immobile friend, the living Buddha. Exhibit B: Tacos, cupcakes and sushi. Not together, obviously. Exhibit C: Prizes! We raffled off all sorts of fun stuff, much of it via fortune cookie. Exhibit D: People watching. It was an eclectic mix, to say the least, but when you get together the city's best and brightest, there are bound to be fireworks. Exhibit E: Yeah, it rained. So? It always rains, that's our "thing." But with a giant tent, a great DJ and ready access to Mandarin Lounge, no complaints were heard (perhaps because the bass drowned them out, but we'll take it.)
