Josh Miller, general manager of the exceedingly well-heeled retailer, notes that the store boasts 18,000 square feet of display space on two floors and stocks something like 30,000 pairs of boots, running the gamut from work to Western dress. Brands include the usual suspects—Tony Lama, Wolverine and so forth—and prices range from quite affordable to decidedly daunting (according to Miller, someone just dropped $2,500 on a pair of alligator-hide marvels). Chuck’s is a truly soleful shopping experience. |
