Hundreds converged under the giant tent raised in COCA's parking lot to suspend reality for a night and hobnob in cosutmes reflecting fashion throughout the ages, for better or for worse, in honor of this year's theme, "Fashion Follies." St. Louis' best-know fashion plates traveled to the darkest depths of their closets and emerged bedecked in feathers, silk, sequins and atrocities so heinous we dare not speak of them. November 22, 2006St. Louis Magazine's Singles Bash
While it may have started as the Singles Bash, that title was far from apt by the end of the night. Cynics may call it coincidence, a lapse in judgment or the happy side effect of a chilly night—we call it love.
