On October 9, during the season home opener, the Blues will unveil a new statue of Brett Hull in front of Scottrade Center, near Brett Hull Way (a.k.a. Clark Avenue). For those wondering about the number of statues outside of St. Louis’ pro sports venues, the score will now read Cardinals: 12, Blues: 3, Rams: 0. (As the Post-Dispatch’s Bryan Burwell has noted, we’re still waiting on “The Handoff?”—sculptor Harry Weber’s statue of Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk—after local bureaucracy sidelined it years ago.)
