3 DIY Wreaths to Ring in the Holidays

3 DIY Wreaths to Ring in the Holidays

Wreaths can be made from just about anything. They can be gorgeous, festive, chic, humorous, elegant, symbolic, and they always add a personal touch to your home or event. These wreaths are fabulous and inexpensive!  Make use of supplies you have on hand and celebrate the season the DIY way!

The holidays will be bright with red and white...

Paper flowers give this bold and beautiful wreath its ruffly texture. Retro modern can be oh so chic and simple to make.

Enjoy this blog for a detailed tutorial showing how to make a variety of paper flowers.

Bountiful Beauty

This magnolia wreath uses natural elements you could easily find in your own backyard! Gather leaves, pinecones, or berries, add fresh fruit such as pears and oranges, and embellish with ornaments and ribbon. Put it up for Thanksgiving and it will look beautiful through January. (You may need to switch out fresh fruit.) Your guests will have a lovely welcome each time they enter your home, and so will you.

Baby its cold outside...

but the nursery looks cheery and warm with this whimsical multicolor wreath. I simply took styrofoam balls, wrapped torn strips of my favorite fabrics that coordinate with the nursery's fresh color palette, and glued them on the fabric-wrapped wreath form. You could also do a variation with ribbon or yarn.

Get creative and enjoy the this holiday season!

Do you have tutorials for these wreaths? Especially the one made out of fabric and styrofoam balls? I'd love to make one, but have a hard enough time following tutorials--still, I'm nothing if not persistent.
