As spring makes its triumphant return, celebrate the colors of the season by visiting thousands of blue morpho butterflies, seeing green at the annual Dogtown Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, singing along with Taylor Swift to her latest album, Red, and more. Here’s a list of the top 10 March events from the SLM calendar, in chronological order.

March 1 through 31: March Morpho Mania
See the unforgettable spectacle of thousands of farm-raised metallic-blue morpho butterflies basking in the sun in the Butterfly House’s tropical conservatory. $6, $5 seniors, $4 children. Butterfly House, Faust Park, 15193 Olive, 636-530-0076, butterflyhouse.org.

Through May 18: “Edward Boccia: Early Work”
The exhibit “Edward Boccia: Early Work” features more than 40 drawings and paintings the late St. Louis artist did in his twenties, thirties, and forties. His work was often compared to that of German Expressionist Max Beckmann, and it was infused with Christian symbolism and Greek mythology. Free. Through March 23: Next to Normal

March 7: Pentatonix

March 9: Mike Epps

March 17: Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
The Ancient Order of Hibernians’ Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Dogtown is like a green Mardi Gras—with kilts. Celebrate Dogtown’s Irish heritage with beer and beads. Free. 12:30 p.m. Starts at Tamm and Oakland avenues.

March 18 & 19: Taylor Swift

March 21, 22 & 23: A Chorus Line

March 21 through 24: Moolah Shrine Circus
