More malls means more people, more shopping...and the need for more restaurants...
The flagship unit, Nadoz at the Coronado, is located in Midtown and the second location (left) is on The Boulevard in Richmond Heights (where we observed one of the many cronut/fauxnut sightings of late...they call theirs "doughssants"--see below right).
In a release, the Beckers said they'd been looking for a location similar to The Boulevard, one with "lots of foot traffic in a high end, upscale shopping environment." The Prestige Outlet Mall opened earlier this month, yet none of its three food court restaurants have yet to open.
Nadoz Bakery Cafe will offer a healthier dining choice, a"food court alternative," according to the release, plus it's located in the mall proper, across from the Ralph Lauren Polo store. Consider it's also a locally-owned entity in a veritable sea of chain restaurants.
What's on the menu? We'll let the Beckers tell you:
*Specialty Coffee and Espresso Drinks serving local Chauvin coffee
* Hot Breakfast All Day serving Omelets, Waffles, Egg Panini Sandwiches, Egg Crepes and In House Baked Breakfast Pastries including Doughssants.
* Homemade soup, unique salads, sandwiches and paninis on artisan bread as well as savory crepes and quiche.
*A Burger Bar Menu with Fresh Angus Beef, Turkey and Black Bean Burgers served on Nadoz Signature Pretzel Roll Buns with Fries
*Healthy lifestyle menu choices: Egg White Flax Seed Muffin Sandwiches, Egg White & Turkey Protein Skillet Scrambles, Preservative Free Artisan Bread, and Healthy Salads with Protein such as Wild Caught Salmon or Grilled Chicken with Southwest Quinoa Salad as a side dish.
* Decadent Desserts and Ice Cream Crepes
* A full line of Christopher Elbow Artisan Chocolates from Kansas City.
And something new, and according to the release, unique to the area: Nadoz Squeeze Juice Bar, offering raw juice made to order from fresh fruit and vegetables, plus Green Smoothies made with veggies using dairy or non dairy milk including soy milk and almond milk as well as real Fruit Smoothies.
The Beckers have set late November as the opening date, smack dab in the scrum of the holiday shopping rush.
